At this busy time of year we mustn't forget those whose birthdays are in December, my mother-in-law is one of those people and this year it was her 80th birthday and so I felt that this warranted a special card I have recently been introduced to the wonderful chippie pieces from Scrapiniec. There chipboard pieces are beautifully intricate and extremely delicate. Here is the card I created.
I cut a piece adhesive canvas from Ranger and added some paper and some embellishments you can see here the bare chipboard pieces
I then started adding Distress ink sprays I used, Tea Dye, Wild Honey and Spied Marmalade
The face in the frame is one of Sandra Evertsons Relics and Artifacts. I covered the lot in gesso before spraying as you can see here.
I thought i had taken a photo of the fully completed card but i obviously forgot! once the sprays had dried i mounted this piece onto an 8 x 8 square card
Thanks for popping by and I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and New Year
Take Care and Happy Crafting
