We'll that was a busy couple of months

Goodness I really don't know where the time goes. In May my mum came to visit us here in Shanghai, so lots of sightseeing and too be honest I was too tired to do anything!! For a 74 year old she just doesn't stop!! Plus we found out that we would be moving back to the UK at the end of August so preparations have now started in ernest with phone calls to packers and running round buying things to take home.  So consequently not a lot of time to concentrate on card making or my blog.  So below are two cards, I made two cards inspired by one made by Glenda at Chocolate Baroque.

The background of both cards was something I had played with a few weeks ago and put to one side. I used the flowers from Chocolate Baroques Punky Flowers and stamped randomly with versamark and then with gelatos just randomly colored the background with red, yellow and pink to make a nice mixed background
This one I then got a piece of white card and stamped a Sarah Kaye image in memento and colored with flex markers.
This one I cut a tags from glossy card stock and had a play using last weeks Monday Mojo from Chocolate Baroque and used versamark on the sentiments on the tag and then using a brayer, covered the tag in Peacock feathers distress ink.  Stamped some background images over the top and then added on two clay flowers I had made and painted.  Then stamped the Tim Holtz words down the side.

Hope you like them.  Do come back tomorrow as there will be something special going on ;-)

Thanks for looking and reading and as always do let me have your comments
